Tourism in Cevallos Park

Tourism in Montalvo Park
It was built from 1905 on the place occupied by the Plaza Mayor or Plaza Matríz with an important contribution from the Government of Eloy Alfaro. The general design of the Park was carried out by the Architect Pedro Durini and the construction was in charge of Mr. Alfonso Troya.
The monument
placed in the middle of the Park was designed in Italy by Pietro Capurro and
has two beautiful and majestic figures: the bronze statue of Don Juan Montalvo
and the Carrara marble figure of the genius of Montalvo. The pedestal was built
of bardiglio (blue) marble, its inauguration took place in June 1911.

Tourism in the House of Montalvo
It is the most representative institution of the city located in the north corner of the Plaza Mayor and built on a site that belonged to Mrs. Maria López Naranjo, which was sold to Mr. Marcos Montalvo Oviedo, a progressive Guaneño merchant married to Mrs. Josefa Fiallos, parents scored by Don Juan Montalvo. Tourism in La Quinta Atocha de Juan León Mera

typical Spanish style, the construction dates from 1874, with an area of 5

Tourism in the Botanical Garden La Liria
This area
includes the properties that belonged to the families of Luis A Martínez (La
Liria) and Juan León Mera (Atocha). It has an area of 14 hectares, in which
200 species of vascular plants and 8 species of endemic flora of Tungurahua are
